This rare example has been trimmed and the Mothers Erdington border has been removed, the oval shaped inner poster is typical of the Mothers posters. The border could easily be reproduced to replace the original.

In 1969 & 1970 American Billboard magazine named MOTHERS The Worlds No 1 music venue. It closed on 3 January 1971. In its 3 years as 'Mothers' 500 bands had played there including Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, The Who, Cream, Fleetwood Mac, The Faces, Free, Deep Purple, Muddy Waters, Rory Gallagher, Elton John, Derek & The?Dominoes, Marc Bolan and Joe Cocker. John Peel did DJ sets at the club and Pink?Floyd recorded some tracks for the album 'Ummagumma' at Mothers.

Condition: Good + trimmed, pinholes, light creasing throughout, light stains

Stored flat in a temperature controlled and dry environment. It will be shipped rolled in a polythene poster tube, rolled in bubble wrap then placed in an inner poster tube. This is then bubble wrapped again and placed in an outer poster tube.
