Original Vintage transparency from Lynyrd Skynyrd's legendary Old Grey Whistle Test performance at the BBC TV Theatre, Shepherds Bush, London on 11th November 1975. These were taken by photographer Robert Ellis and came directly from Manager, Bill Curbishley's office in Wardour St, Soho, London.
Printed on reversal film these positive images produce colour transparencies that were used in commercial photography until the mid-1990s when digital media gradually replaced them. They were preferred for publication because of the film's higher contrast and resolution, the colours are more vibrant with a finer grain and better resolution and sharpness compared to traditional negative films.
